Hello! Welcome to Halcyon Tears. As you may notice, there isn't very much activity on the site. At the moment, we are working on upgrades and repairs to features before item updates and events can be made.

People are still free to post on the forums. We would just like to make it clear that the site is heavily under construction right now.

X First of all, I love fireworks! I'm going to go see some quite soon! ^__^

Do you have any traditions for independence day, Canada day, or your countries' unique national or traditional holidays? :3 What's your favorite?

...and are you a fan of fireworks? =D

I love fireworks, I didn't get to do anything on Independence Day, though, because I was sick.

Sad

I'd been sick since about last Wednesday, I'm feeling pretty much entirely better now, outside of some medication-related discomforts.

X My cousin through a firecracker at me. Neutral

Not too big on fireworks. Sure, they're pretty, but also loud and dangerous. No burns and deafness kthx.

In Srilanka Independence day is 4th of Feb. But we don't recognise it as our country so we don't have any such day.

In England...they were always independent or something like that.

I love Deepavali. That's when we do fireworks and it comes around 5th of November so more fire works.

Shika - Loud fireworks are the most fun. Very Happy

X I hate fireworks. Every year I have to deal with at least two or three idiots who think that they are the exception to the fact that humans are indeed flammable, and set themselves and likely their houses on fire. So, naturally, I dislike any holidays that have fireworks.

I like Christmas. It has nothing to do with getting and giving crap, although I love to give people things. It's more along the fact that it's actually cold, and there's snow. Wonderful, beautiful snow.

It's rare that I see snow. I like it in theory but not as much in practice.

It's cold. I'm used to hot. I tend to prefer winter to summer, but when it's actually cold enough for it to snow and stick, it's just... too cold for my poor little Texas-bound self.

X I'm afraid not, but I love the pyrotechnics involved in the creation and use of fireworks. I'm a big math and science nerd, so I enjoy working with explosives... understanding the composition of them and such.

I suppose the fireworks are my favorite part of any holiday. But in a geeky sort of way.

I just learned this year that some people put lit candles in their christmas trees. I wouldn't be surprised to hear that some individuals light themselves, their trees, and even their houses.

Not to ruin your holiday or anything. I'm just saying...
