Hello! Welcome to Halcyon Tears. As you may notice, there isn't very much activity on the site. At the moment, we are working on upgrades and repairs to features before item updates and events can be made.
People are still free to post on the forums. We would just like to make it clear that the site is heavily under construction right now.
If you would like to know more or would like to help out in any way, please contact Razumi Yazura for more information.

Coming Home Contest (to bring joy to the end of vactation)
To All Members of the Aquos Tribe.
I, Pulindar, am hosting a small Description competition. I hope all members of the Aquos tribe will compete. There will be three prizes given away in this description contest. Descriptions will be judged on grammar, word usage, creativity, and on how well it keeps with the Aquos theme. The descriptions are to be of the applicants home, however they desire it. This contest is open only to members of the Aquos tribe. Descriptions have no limitation in length, and may include other content to assist in portraying the home of the applicant. This contest begins August 25th and ends on September 29th
First Prize: 2000 Galdin
Second Prize: 1000 Galdin
Third Prize: 500 Galdin
Rules are as follows:- Must be created by the applicant
- Must be of the applicant’s Aquos home (whatever you want it to look like)
- Only one submission per applicant
- Applicant must belong to the Aquos tribe
- May be a description of any part the home, or of the whole home.
- Does not need to be constructed as a traditional home, use whatever meets the Aquos theme.
- Remember you are a Halcyon child, only 9% of your human height in inches.

Home, it's a word filled with much weight, and that means many different things, to many different people. But to me, home is a sanctuary, a calm place, where I can feel at peace. Laying near a riverbank, in the soft spring grasses, sit stones, white, and water-polished, piled and sealed together, in truth, it took a very long time to do, though I had much help. They form a large circle; all save for the door, a little rounded thing, made of woven reeds, like the domed roof. In front, I have my gardens, and a lawn of beautiful moss. It's gone to seed though, and so looks far less tidy than it generally does. in front of the door, and through the lawn is a path of fine, pale river sand that sparkles as it catches the sun. if you follow it up, and through the door, you find my world, and my comfort. There are two main rooms, a kitchen and a living area... Some might be cramped, but I do not want for space. I have a nice birch-twig bed, which smells of the forest, and woven reed rugs upon the floor. Upon the bed is a bright blanket. It was dropped by one of the larger ones, red with squiggles and curls and all sorts of odd shapes in black and white upon it. Was also quite messy, I can't imagine what it had been used for, but it washed up well enough. Then, there are walnut shell baskets and a river stone table for holding my things, and some curtains made from the same thing as the blanket, forever was still much left over after I cut the blanket from it! In the kitchen, there are small woven reed cabinets and a nice twig-and-bark table given to me as a housewarming gift. The surface has been polished smooth with time, and it always reminds me of my dear, dear friends who have had a part in wearing down to the smoothness of river-stone. It may not be a large or fancy home by some standards, but it is mine, and I love it.
